Ant-colony foraging on the GPU: thousands of ants wander from the nest, and a searching ant follows the food pheromone while laying a home trail, a laden ant follows the home trail back while laying a food trail. Neither knows the map, yet reinforcing nest↔food highways emerge between the four food sources.
